Candice R. Chan is a pastry chef, chef instructor, and a registerd nurse. Living in Cagayan de Oro City, her life keeps getting sweeter.

 

 

She discovered her knack for baking and cooking at such a young age. She began honing her skills, creating sumptuous dishes for her family. Food is what makes her happy and she realized she had always been drawn to become a chef and that this was her true calling.

 

 

In 2010 while working as a Clinical Instructor in the College of Nursing at Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, she enrolled at Culinary Institute of Cagayan de Oro to master and perfect her culinary and pastry skills and to have professional training and education. She also had her training in fondant cakes at Heny Sison Culinary School. It was her experience and success acquired from her education and trainings that provided Candice the confidence she needed to take a sweet leap of faith in creating Sweet Treats by chef Candice.
